Interior Outfitting

Special ships require functional equipment under special conditions: labs on research ships, crew areas on offshore supply vessels, control rooms on government ships. KAEFER Pros develop and manufacture wall and ceiling systems, cabins and technical rooms – coordinated for each use case and the applicable classification guidelines.

Exterior Outfitting

The outdoor areas and work surfaces of special ships must withstand extreme weather conditions, ranging from Arctic temperatures to tropical heat. KAEFER supplies working decks, outdoor furniture, cladding and specialist solutions for every use case. All facilities are manufactured according to our specifications and assembled by experienced KAEFER Pros.

Technical insulation

Technical insulation for special ships means mastery of extreme temperature ranges. LNG carries work at temperatures up to –162 °C, polar ships encounter ambient temperatures far below zero. KAEFER Pros draw on their insulation experience from industry and shipbuilding – for cold insulation, heat insulation and fire protection by design according to the specifications of classification bodies.
